PluribusNeighbors

The Neighbors desktop app

Your neighborhood,
in its own words.

See what your neighborhood is actually talking about — the issues gaining ground, the mood underneath them, and the things worth knowing before they reach everyone else.

What Windows will ask you

Windows warns twice about installers it hasn't seen downloaded widely, and Neighbors is new. Both warnings are about that — not about anything it found in the file.

  1. As the download finishes, your browser says “Pluribus-Neighbors-Setup-0.1.11.exe isn't commonly downloaded.” Open the ··· menu next to it and choose Keep. A details panel opens with a Delete button — open the arrow beside it and choose Keep anyway.
  2. When you run the installer, Windows may show a blue “Windows protected your PC” screen. Click More info, then Run anyway.

That details panel shows Publisher: US, co, Denver, Gregory Narain, Gregory Narain — our cofounder, named on the certificate this installer is signed with. It's a personal name rather than a company one for now, and that's expected.
